health care anyone? did anyone else waste their lovely Wednesday evening watching obama's health care speech as i did? and boy, do i mean waste. although it was very amusing to listen to the president of the united states being called a liar on national TV by Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina during his speech, my very critical and cynical side is threatening to burst to tell my opinion.

obama is a very charming speaker. he knows very well how to capture the emotions of the audience. he's very inspirational, and he's very smooth.

but is that all hehas to offer?

OBAMA OPENED HIS ADDRESS ON HEALTH CARE BY NOTING THAT HE WASN'T THE FIRST AMERICAN HEAD OF STATE TO TACKLE THIS ISSUE, BUT THAT HE WADETERMINED TO BE THE LAST. HE CAPTURED THE AUDIENCEIMMEDIATELY WITH HIS SELF CONFIDENCE AND I BELIEVE HE IS MORE LIKELY THAN NOT TO GET HIS WAY. AMERICA SPENDS MORE THEN ONE AND A HALF TIMES MORE PER PERSON ON HEALTHCARE THEN ANY OTHER COUNTRY. BUT WE AREN'T ANY HEALTHIER. OBAMA CLAIMS THAT WITH HIS NEW PLAN, HE WILL CUT THE COST BY HALF AND DOUBLE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE. right, cause you’ve been doing so incredible about lowering the cost of things so far, right?

but this isn't what bugs me most.

what bugs me is obama's slogan. "change".

Obama is not reforming health care. he is changing it.

One of the biggest problems is the free medical, dental, school lunches, education, and government handouts given to illegal immigrants. The regular citizen must pay for all that for their family. By the time the regular expenses are paid, they often have little money left over for the incidents for the everyday life.

For me, it's not about health care, it's about our freedom.

Your rights can only be taken away by our god, not by our government.
